Tracking is on — here's what we collect
Hours you can actually sign off on.
A manual timer and an always-on agent in one workspace, under one policy engine. Every score is published, and every record is visible to the person it describes.

Most tools force you to pick a tracking philosophy. Real teams need both.
TimeLogger runs a first-class manual timer and a first-class always-on agent in the same workspace — governed by one policy engine, producing one set of approved hours. No competitor offers both.
Manual timer
Press Start and the clock is running — no confirm step. Nothing is captured until you do, and nothing after you stop. For freelancers, agencies and trusted seniors.
Automatic agent
Zero-click capture that starts at login — continuously, or inside a working-hours fence. For offices, BPOs and regulated operations. The member always knows the boundaries.
Built to be trusted by the people it tracks.
The features that matter, shown the way they actually work in the product — from the policy engine down to the timesheet you export.
Two modes, resolved to one effective policy
Every capability is a field on a versioned policy that resolves across five scopes — workspace to device — and is validated against the jurisdiction before it can be saved.
- Most-specific scope wins, field by field
- Compliance rules subtract, never silently add
- Simulate a change before it reaches a single device
Screenshots — or a real number with no image at all
Run periodic, jittered, optionally-blurred screenshots, or switch to score-only mode and deploy where every screenshot vendor is banned. Both ship on every plan.
- Employees can delete their own captures
- Score-only leaves nothing to blur, redact or leak
- Keystrokes are counted, never recorded
Live view that the member always sees
A manager can view a live screen only with scoped permission, behind a persistent, non-dismissible indicator the entire time — and every session is audited.
- A red banner shows the whole time it is active
- Off by default; enabled per policy
- Actor, target, duration and reason are logged
Timesheets that export clean and stop there
Submit, review, approve, lock the period, and export approved hours as CSV, XLSX or over the API — into whatever you already use to invoice or pay. We compute hours; we don't compute money.
- Immutable before/after audit on every edit
- Locked periods can't be quietly changed
- Approved hours are the product's only output
Seventeen capabilities. And only these.
The entire product surface — grouped into how time is captured, what the agent records, and how hours get signed off. Deep on capture, deliberately finished at approved hours.
Tracking modes
4Four ways to capture time, under one policy engine.
Manual start/stop timer
Press Start; the clock runs.
Automatic 24/7 tracking
The agent runs whenever the device does.
Scheduled auto-start
Zero-click start at login.
Silent / windowless agent
For company-owned devices, where lawful.
Capture
11What the agent records — counts before content, scores before screenshots.
Screenshots
Periodic, jittered, optionally blurred.
Screenshot-free "score only" mode
A real productivity number, no image.
Employee can delete own screenshot
Remove a capture that shows something personal.
Live screen view
Scoped, permissioned, always indicated.
Webcam verification
Opt-in identity checks.
App & website tracking
Which apps and sites, for how long.
URL / search-query capture
Domain-only or full, set by policy.
Keystroke / mouse counts
How much you type — never what.
Idle detection
Idle, then away — always visible.
Offline tracking & sync
Correct with no network, for days.
Manual offline-time entry
Log work away from the computer.
Attribution & sign-off
2Where the time went, and the hours someone signs off on.
Projects & tasks
Know where the time went.
Timesheet approval workflow
Submit, approve, lock, export.
Seven things we'll never build, stated openly → the line we drew
We compute hours. Other systems compute money.
We produce verified hours and evidence, then hand them off. Approved timesheets leave as CSV, XLSX or over the API — into whatever you already use to invoice or pay. That boundary is the whole point.
The words are part of the defensibility.
These are marketing claims we can actually defend — because they are enforced in code, not disclaimed in a contract. Whatever an employer sees about a person, that person sees about themselves.
We never record what you type
Only how much. Keystroke content is a hard product constraint — there is nothing typed to read.
You see everything your manager sees
Whatever the employer sees about a person, that person sees about themselves, in the same detail.
You can delete your own screenshots
Where your employer allows it. Your manager sees that one was removed, never what was in it.
We tell you before we change what we collect
A collection increase is disclosed, scheduled, and acknowledged against a policy version.
We publish our scoring formulas
Every score is explained in-product, with the caveats that keep it fair. No black boxes.
We delete data when we say we will
Retention is enforced server-side, and we issue a signed receipt proving the deletion.
We can't watch your screen unnoticed
Live view works only when enabled, behind a persistent indicator the entire time it's active.
We never lie about what's running
Silent Mode exists only where law and device ownership allow, is off by default, and is audit-logged.
What we will never build.
Not deferred, not backlogged, not phase two. A tool that does one thing completely beats a suite that does eight things adequately — so we say plainly what stays out, permanently.
Attendance
Punch in/out, presence, punctuality and absenteeism pull us into HR system-of-record territory and country-specific labour rules.
Invoicing
A finance workflow with tax, currency and compliance surface far beyond our value.
Payroll
Statutory exposure and per-country rules — a system-of-record obligation we will not carry.
Budgets vs estimates
A project-management concern that belongs to Jira, Asana or ClickUp.
Shift scheduling
Rostering is its own product category.
Leave & holiday management
HRIS territory.
Geofencing
Location enforcement is a distinct legal regime and a different product. No GPS, no IP-based location, ever.
We will never build attendance or payroll.
We track hours. Your payroll system pays them. Read why this exists.
