Managing your team
App categories
Label apps and websites as productive, neutral or unproductive, mark meeting apps, and see what relabelling changes.
App categories decide which apps and websites count as productive, neutral or unproductive in your workspace, and which count as meetings. They feed the productivity score and the meeting time in reports. TimeLogger ships with sensible defaults; you adjust them to how your team actually works.
| App or website | Category | Meeting |
|---|---|---|
| Figma | Productive | No |
| Slack | Neutral | No |
| Zoom | Neutral | Yes |
| YouTube | Unproductive | No |

Worth labelling#
When people in your scope spend time in apps or sites with no category, a Worth labelling card appears at the top, listing the most-used ones from the last 14 days with one-click category buttons. Unclassified time doesn’t count for or against productivity, but too much of it makes the score show as insufficient. The card is hidden when there’s nothing to label, as in the demo workspace.
| Category | What it means |
|---|---|
| Productive | Counts towards the productivity score. |
| Neutral | Left out of the score — never counted against anyone. Good for chat, email and browsers. |
| Unproductive | Counts against the score. |
| Unclassified | No rule yet. Left out of the score, and lowers classification coverage. |
