Review screenshots and activity
Read a person’s screenshots, apps and scores fairly — blur, “Removed by employee”, webcam photos and the Worth a look flags.
Each person’s page brings together what was recorded while they tracked time: a timeline, screenshots, apps and sites, activity level and productivity. This guide shows how to read it fairly — the numbers are prompts for a conversation, never a verdict.
| Person | Team | Policy | Day |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meera Nair | Brand (Design) | Screenshots blurred on the device | Fri 25 Sep 2026 |
Open someone’s screenshots#
Open the person
Go to WorkspaceMembers and click their name, or click their name on the Live board.
Choose the Screenshots tab
Screenshots are grouped by hour, each with the app in front at the time and the activity level for that hour.
Pick the day
Use the arrows or the date button at the right. Click a screenshot to see it larger.
Labels you’ll see#
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Blurred | The policy blurs screenshots on the device, before they leave the laptop. There is no unblurred copy anywhere. |
| Removed by employee | The person deleted this screenshot, which their policy allows. You see that a slot was removed and when — never what was in it. The time itself stays on their timesheet. |
| Removed by retention policy | The screenshot passed the workspace’s retention period and was deleted automatically, with a signed deletion receipt. |
| Removed by an admin | An admin deleted it. The deletion is in the audit log. |
| Webcam | A webcam photo, only where the policy enables webcam and the person has opted in. They get a notification every time one is taken. |
What the member sees
Activity and scores#
The Activity tab lists the apps and websites the person used, how long, and how each is categorised. The Scores tab shows activity level and productivity over time.
| Measure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Activity level | 0–100, from counts of keyboard and mouse input. It measures interaction, not value — low levels are normal for reading, design and calls. |
| Productivity | Productive ÷ (productive + unproductive) active time. Neutral apps are left out, not counted against anyone. Below 60% classification coverage it shows as insufficient. |
Never the sole basis for a decision
Worth a look#
Some patterns in the data can have ordinary explanations but may be worth a conversation. TimeLogger lists them under WorkspaceReportsWorth a look, each with a Review the day link.
| Flag | What it means |
|---|---|
| Long tracked stretch with very little input | Over 2 hours with near-zero activity. Could be reading, calls — or a forgotten session. |
| Very regular input pattern | Perfectly periodic mouse events with no keyboard input. |
| Device clock looked out of step | The device’s clock changed while tracking. |
| Two devices active at the same time | Overlapping input from two devices for one person. |
| Capture wasn’t working on a device | Screenshots or app sampling failed — often a missing OS permission. |
| A lot of time left unassigned | High unassigned time over several days. |
| More self-reported time than usual | A rise in offline entries usually means the agent isn’t capturing. |
| Time logged outside working hours | The person chose “I am working now” outside the capture window — often an early start or a deadline. |
| A very long session | One session ran past 16 hours — often a timer left running. |
