Managing your team
Live board and live view
See who is tracking right now and how their agents are doing, and start an audited live view where policy allows it.
The Live board shows who in your scope is tracking right now, on which app and project, and whether their desktop agent is healthy. Live view goes one step further: with a reason, and only where the person’s policy allows it, you can watch their screen for a short session — and they see that you are.
Open the Live board#
Go to WorkspaceLive board. It refreshes on its own every 20 seconds — the badge at the top right says when it last updated.
The tiles at the top#
| Tile | What it means |
|---|---|
| Tracking now | How many people in your scope are tracking at this moment. |
| Tracked today | Total tracked time today across your scope. |
| Avg activity level | The average interaction level. It measures input, not value — see the caveat under the cards. |
| Pending approvals | Timesheets waiting for you. Opens Approvals. |
| Unassigned time | Share of tracked time with no project yet. |
What each state means#
Filter the cards with All, Tracking, Idle / away and Offline, or search by person, app or project.
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Tracking | Capture is running. |
| Idle | No keyboard or mouse input within the policy’s idle threshold. |
| Away | No input past the away threshold. |
| Paused | The person paused their timer. |
| Private time | Private time is on — nothing is captured. |
| Outside window | Outside the policy’s capture window, so nothing is being recorded. |
| Stopped | Not tracking. |
| Offline | No heartbeat from the agent in the last 3 minutes. |
| No agent | No desktop agent enrolled yet. |
A second badge shows the agent’s health: Healthy, Needs attention (for example a missing screen recording permission), Offline or Deauthorized. Click a name to open that person’s page.
Working hours are a capture fence, not a schedule
Start a live view#
Live view is off unless the person’s tracking policy turns it on, and the person must be online. When both are true, a Live view button appears on their card and at the top of their member page.
Choose Live view
On the person’s card on the Live board, or on their page under Members.
Pick the device
If they have more than one authorised device, choose the one to view.
Write a reason
At least 10 characters, for example “Client escalation on ticket #4821 — need to see the error they’re getting”. The reason is shared with the person and kept in the audit log.
Choose Start live view
The viewer opens and waits for the first frame. A banner reminds you that Live view is visible to the member. Choose End when you’re done.
What the member sees
The audit log records when the session started (with the reason), when you first viewed it and when it ended.
Questions#
Why is there no Live view button?
Can I record a live view?
Does the board show what people type or which websites they read?
